Privacy Policy for Sabbath Study

Sabbath Study is developed and operated by Corner Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, processed, and shared when you download, access, or use the Sabbath Study mobile application.
By using Sabbath Study, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Sabbath Study does not require users to create an account to access the app’s main study content.
We do not intentionally request or directly collect sensitive personal information such as your name, home address, passwords, banking details, religious affiliation, private communications, or government identification documents.
However, certain technical information may be collected automatically by third-party services integrated into the app.
This information may include:

Operating system and app version
Device identifiers or advertising identifiers

2. Google AdMob Advertising
The free version of Sabbath Study uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Google and its advertising partners may collect or process device information, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location information, app interaction information, and advertising performance information.

3. Premium Subscriptions
Sabbath Study offers optional auto-renewable premium subscriptions.
Available subscription periods may include:

Yearly subscription
Premium access may remove advertisements and unlock premium features described on the subscription screen.
All subscription purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not directly receive or store your complete payment card information, bank account information, or Apple Account password.
We may receive limited transaction information from Apple, including:
Subscription product selected
Purchase status
Subscription entitlement status
Renewal status
Expiration information
Transaction identifiers
Whether a purchase has been restored
This information is used only to provide and manage premium access.
4. Continue With Ads
Users who do not purchase a premium subscription may choose Continue with Ads.
When this option is selected, Sabbath Study may display an interstitial advertisement before returning the user to the requested free feature.
Selecting Continue with Ads does not create a paid subscription. The user will continue using the advertising-supported version of the app.
5. Apple App Store Services
Purchases, subscription renewals, billing, cancellations, and refunds are managed by Apple under the user’s Apple Account.
Apple may independently collect and process purchase, device, account, and diagnostic information according to Apple’s own privacy policies.
We do not control Apple’s collection or use of this information.
6. Local App Data
Certain information may be stored locally on your device to support app functionality.
Local data may include:
Reading progress
Completed lessons
Bookmarks
Favourite content
App preferences
Theme selections
Notification preferences
Premium entitlement status
Advertising frequency information
Unless otherwise stated inside the app, this information remains on your device and is not uploaded to our own servers.
Deleting the app may delete locally stored information.
7. Notifications
Sabbath Study may request permission to send notifications, including study reminders, lesson reminders, or app-related updates.
Notifications are optional. You can enable or disable them at any time through your device settings.
We do not use notification permission to access the content of your private messages.

Apple system notification services
These third parties may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies.

9. Tracking and Advertising Choices
Depending on your device, region, and applicable law, Sabbath Study or its advertising partners may request permission before accessing information used to track activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
You may deny tracking permission without losing access to the free version of the app. However, advertisements may still be shown and may be less personalised.

You may also manage advertising and privacy choices through any consent form or privacy settings made available inside the app.
10. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, information may be processed based on:

Performance of a service requested by you

Prevention of fraud, abuse, and security incidents
Compliance with legal obligations
Administration of subscriptions and purchases
You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal will not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

We do not sell your directly provided personal information.

Local app information is retained on your device until it is deleted through the app, removed by the operating system, or deleted when you uninstall the app.
Subscription transaction information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to verify purchases, provide premium access, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
Third-party providers retain information according to their own retention policies.
13. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled through Sabbath Study.
However, no mobile application, internet transmission, or electronic storage method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your device, Apple Account, passwords, and access credentials.
14. Children’s Privacy
Sabbath Study is intended for a general audience interested in Bible and Sabbath School study.
We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children.
Advertisements shown in the app are managed through Google AdMob. Where the app is directed to children or is likely to be used by children, advertising configuration must comply with applicable child-protection laws and Google’s child-directed treatment requirements.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us to request its review or deletion.
15. International Data Processing
Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
These countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, service providers may use appropriate legal safeguards for international data transfers.

Subscription records and purchase history are controlled by Apple and may remain associated with your Apple Account according to Apple’s policies and legal obligations.
Advertising data controlled by Google must be managed through Google’s privacy and advertising controls.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising services, subscription features, legal requirements, or data practices change.
The updated policy will include a revised effective date. Continued use of Sabbath Study after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
Material changes may also be communicated through the app or the app’s store listing.
