Sabbath Study is developed and operated by Corner Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, processed, and shared when you download, access, or use the Sabbath Study mobile application.

By using Sabbath Study, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Sabbath Study does not require users to create an account to access the app’s main study content.

We do not intentionally request or directly collect sensitive personal information such as your name, home address, passwords, banking details, religious affiliation, private communications, or government identification documents.

However, certain technical information may be collected automatically by third-party services integrated into the app.

This information may include:

  • Advertising interactions

  • Diagnostic, performance, and crash information

  • Subscription and purchase status

  • Consent and privacy preference information

The exact information collected may depend on your device settings, location, consent choices, and whether you use the free or premium version.

2. Google AdMob Advertising

The free version of Sabbath Study uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

Advertisements may include:

  • Banner advertisements

  • Native advertisements

  • Interstitial advertisements

  • App Open advertisements

Google and its advertising partners may collect or process device information, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location information, app interaction information, and advertising performance information.

3. Premium Subscriptions

Sabbath Study offers optional auto-renewable premium subscriptions.

Available subscription periods may include:

  • Weekly subscription

  • Monthly subscription

  • Yearly subscription

Premium access may remove advertisements and unlock premium features described on the subscription screen.

All subscription purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not directly receive or store your complete payment card information, bank account information, or Apple Account password.

We may receive limited transaction information from Apple, including:

  • Subscription product selected

  • Purchase status

  • Subscription entitlement status

  • Renewal status

  • Expiration information

  • Transaction identifiers

  • Whether a purchase has been restored

This information is used only to provide and manage premium access.

4. Continue With Ads

Users who do not purchase a premium subscription may choose Continue with Ads.

When this option is selected, Sabbath Study may display an interstitial advertisement before returning the user to the requested free feature.

Selecting Continue with Ads does not create a paid subscription. The user will continue using the advertising-supported version of the app.

5. Apple App Store Services

Purchases, subscription renewals, billing, cancellations, and refunds are managed by Apple under the user’s Apple Account.

Apple may independently collect and process purchase, device, account, and diagnostic information according to Apple’s own privacy policies.

We do not control Apple’s collection or use of this information.

  • Advertising frequency information

Unless otherwise stated inside the app, this information remains on your device and is not uploaded to our own servers.

Deleting the app may delete locally stored information.

7. Notifications

Sabbath Study may request permission to send notifications, including study reminders, lesson reminders, or app-related updates.

Notifications are optional. You can enable or disable them at any time through your device settings.

We do not use notification permission to access the content of your private messages.

8. Third-Party Services

Sabbath Study may use third-party services including:

  • Google AdMob

  • Google Mobile Ads SDK

  • Google User Messaging Platform

  • Apple StoreKit

  • Apple App Store services

  • Apple system notification services

These third parties may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of Google and Apple for additional information about their data practices.

9. Tracking and Advertising Choices

Depending on your device, region, and applicable law, Sabbath Study or its advertising partners may request permission before accessing information used to track activity across other companies’ apps or websites.

You may deny tracking permission without losing access to the free version of the app. However, advertisements may still be shown and may be less personalised.

You may manage tracking permission through:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

You may also manage advertising and privacy choices through any consent form or privacy settings made available inside the app.

10. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, information may be processed based on:

  • Your consent

  • Performance of a service requested by you

  • Our legitimate interests in operating and improving the app

  • Prevention of fraud, abuse, and security incidents

  • Compliance with legal obligations

  • Administration of subscriptions and purchases

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal will not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

11. Data Sharing

We do not sell your directly provided personal information.

Information may be shared with:

  • Advertising providers

  • Analytics and diagnostic providers

  • Apple for subscriptions and App Store services

  • Service providers that support app operation

  • A successor organisation in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of the app

Third-party advertising partners may independently process information for advertising measurement, fraud prevention, personalisation, and related purposes.

12. Data Retention

Local app information is retained on your device until it is deleted through the app, removed by the operating system, or deleted when you uninstall the app.

Subscription transaction information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to verify purchases, provide premium access, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Third-party providers retain information according to their own retention policies.

13. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled through Sabbath Study.

However, no mobile application, internet transmission, or electronic storage method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your device, Apple Account, passwords, and access credentials.

14. Children’s Privacy

Sabbath Study is intended for a general audience interested in Bible and Sabbath School study.

We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children.

Advertisements shown in the app are managed through Google AdMob. Where the app is directed to children or is likely to be used by children, advertising configuration must comply with applicable child-protection laws and Google’s child-directed treatment requirements.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us to request its review or deletion.

15. International Data Processing

Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

These countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, service providers may use appropriate legal safeguards for international data transfers.

17. Deleting Your Information

You may remove locally stored Sabbath Study information by:

  • Using any reset or delete option provided in the app

  • Clearing the app’s local data where supported

  • Deleting the app from your device

Subscription records and purchase history are controlled by Apple and may remain associated with your Apple Account according to Apple’s policies and legal obligations.

Advertising data controlled by Google must be managed through Google’s privacy and advertising controls.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising services, subscription features, legal requirements, or data practices change.

The updated policy will include a revised effective date. Continued use of Sabbath Study after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.

Material changes may also be communicated through the app or the app’s store listing.
